Nestled into the ridges and valleys of the Allegheny Plateau in beautiful northwestern Pennsylvania, the Allegheny National Forest region offers plenty of opportunities to photograph fall foliage and to explore charming small towns.
Fall really is bigger here with over 513,000 acres of hardwood forests brushed with the colors of scarlet, sunshine yellow and brilliant orange. At elevations of over 2,000 feet, the fall foliage usually peeks around this time of year. Of course, Mother Nature has the final say.
We will be photographing some of the most beautiful scenery in the Allegheny National Forest. Every location has been personally scouted by our workshop leader to ensure stunning photographic locations. Some of what we will be covering was selected by USA TODAY as one of the top 50 scenic drives in America.
During this slow-paced relaxed, yet very educational workshop, you will learn:
-
proper camera settings for the best captures
-
